As well as numerous events and enrichment in winemaking excellence, in 2023 we welcomed two guests of cultural significance: the essayist philosopher Umberto Galimberti and the American songwriter Suzanne Vega.

With the sophistication and elegance that has always distinguished her, the folk musician has modified some historical songs with a decidedly pop influence, with examples such as Luka and Tom’s Diner, to more modernist compositions elaborated in the last years of her artistic career. On stage with her is the famous guitarist Gerry Leonard, a faithful collaborator of David Bowie.
“An Intimate Evening of Songs and Stories’’ was the title of a strongly evocative performance, made even more unique thanks to the unmistakable vocals of the artist.

Suzanne’s concert was followed by another special event involving Galimberti in a deep reflection on the meaning of faith.
During the presentation of his book “The words of Jesus”, written in collaboration with the biblical scholar Ludwig Monti, Umberto Galimberti made popular and easily relatable some of the episodes that personally involve the figure of Christ.
Distancing himself from the dogmas of Catholicism and seeking to explore thoroughly the Sacred Texts, the Greek philosopher confessed that he looked with trust to the earthly dimension, affirming that this is also possible thanks to the conscious reading of some books among which is the Gospel.

Both events were included in the Twelfth Edition of the “Festival della bellezza”, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and promoted by the Veneto Region.
We hope to host equally prestigious events in 2024 and to give continuity to the spirit of the location that since the eighteenth century has been and continues to be the emblem of a solid cultural melting pot.
