A Journey into Tenuta Santa Maria di Gaetano Bertani’s Finest wines
In 2025, the Consorzio per la Tutela dei Vini Valpolicella celebrates a historic milestone: 100 years of protecting and promoting one of Italy’s most iconic wine-growing regions. A century of collective effort to enhance, safeguard, and bring the Valpolicella appellation to global renown.
On May 24, Tenuta Santa Maria had the honor of participating in Vino100 Selected, one of the most exclusive events on the international wine scene. Held in the elegant setting of the Pullman Shanghai Central Hotel, the event brought together 100 outstanding Italian wineries, handpicked by Ian D’Agata, and welcomed a prestigious audience of wine professionals, buyers, and journalists from across Asia.
It reflects the identity of the Valpolicella terroir, without artifice.
The estate is proud to be part of the Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers (FIVI), a collective of artisanal winemakers committed to authenticity, sustainability, and a deep-rooted connection to the land.
