Tenuta Santa Maria at Vinitaly 2024 – 12-15 April

This year we again present our collection of wines, known in Italy and abroad for their distinctive and elegant character. We are proud of our modern oenological approach that allows us to distinguish our wines from many others produced in the region. The attention we pay to sustainability is indispensable and allows us to adopt strategies aimed at protecting environmental integrity. Our Amarone is the pure expression of the indigenous grape varieties and each method used in the cellar is applied with respect for tradition using up-to-date and modern technology.

Hall 5 / Stand E7

What is Vinitaly:

Born in Verona, but from the very first editions it has been an international trade fair. Vinitaly is the reference exhibition in Italy for the wine market and involves a high number of sector professionals – producers, buyers and stakeholders.

  • FIVI: the importance of being independent winegrowers

At Tenuta Santa Maria, we fully embrace the core mission of FIVI. The essence of our philosophy lies in being winegrower-farmer, the key to ensuring a future of high-quality, sustainable wines. The Independent winegrower tends to his vines, harvests his grapes, produces his wine, and manages its sales entirely under his own supervision, name, and label. This hands-on approach allows us to take part in each step of the production process, working tirelessly to preserve, protect, and promote the unique terroir we are a part of. Founded back in 2008, the Italian Federation of Independent Winemakers unites almost 1,700 like-minded individuals. Together, we strive to uphold the integrity of winemaking as a profession, advocating for our craft, and highlighting what sets us apart. To be a member one needs to: carry out agricultural activity, with predominantly so-called "vertical" mode, that is, carry out all the following activities: Direct cultivation of vineyards, taking care of all stages of the biological cycle up to the harvesting of grapes. Processing into wine of the grapes mainly harvested in the directly cultivated vineyards and correlative bottling, in compliance with the quantitative limits of the statute. Marketing under own name of all or part of the bottled product. To learn more about FIVI's mission, statute, events and members list, visit the website: https://fivi.it/
